Surprising Benefits of Cow Manure to Dragon Fruit Plants

It's been months that this blog is on hiatus status. We've been out hunting for cow manures. Not long we realized that it's in the neighborhood. At last way back March 2018 we were able to find unlimited source less than an hour away from our place. It's near to a slaughter house in our place.

Did you know that this golden poo contains approximately 70-80% of the nitrogen (N), 60-85% of the phosphorus (P), and 80-90% of the potassium (K) in feeds are excreted in the manure. These nutrients can replace fertilizer needed for pasture or crop growth, eliminating the need to purchase fertilizers. Plants do not distinguish between sources of nutrients.

As growers we realized that we can't rely only on synthetic fertilizers. We made sure to use a combination of synthetic and organic fertilizers. We need to think of the future and use organic sources of fertilizers to maintain healthy and non-acidic soil. Finding this abundant source of cow dung made this goal possible. 

This poo is life saving. It saves us money since we got them free. No kidding. We simply spend effort, time and sweat every time we go poo hunting. That's it.

Since then the garden enjoyed natural fertilizer from mother nature month after month.
