A Super-Healthy Dragon Fruit Smoothie Ideas

Though the sky was gray yesterday, I can't deny the fact that it's still  summer where I live. Summer with thunderstorms, Isn't it crazy? You won't be surprise if you live in the Philippines like me. Having said that, I have to look for ways to feel fresh and cool down without eating ice cream. (I'm successful in skipping desserts since January.)


A few days ago, I picked up about five kilos of Dragon fruit from my mentor's farm. 
Upon this writing I'm still in Manila and Maryland have green fruits for me to use. 


I love the color of summer but not the heatwaves.

My own mix. You may wanna create your own mix. Be creative.
"The Trio"
Dragon fruit + Pear +Banana
1/2 sliced red Royal Red Dragon Fruit
1 pc of Banana (Lakatan variety or any banana available) 
1 tsp brown sugar/honey/condensed milk
slices of pears
crushed ice


Blend in 30 seconds to a minute with the crushed ice.


My first tall glass smoothie. It was made of 3 fruits I tried yesterday.
